Jade Roberts is a New York-based talent and an emerging arts leader with a passion and focus for improving the lives of artists, and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion throughout the entertainment sector.
She is a multidisciplinary artist with experience as an Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Director, and Dance Captain. During her time in Central Florida, she was regularly engaged in those roles by theatre companies including: Central Florida Vocal Arts, Opera Del Sol, Orlando Light Opera, Phoenix Tears Productions and Aeon Life Theatre.
Winner of Phoenix Tears Productions’ 2020 Mainstage Performer of the Year award, Jade was also nominated by BroadwayWorld in 2020 for Dancer of the Decade, and in 2017 for Best Professional Choreography for her part in choreographing Orlando Light Opera’s The Merry Widow at the Orlando Repertory Theatre and surrounding theatres on a state tour. Additionally, Jade spent time with Phoenix Tears Productions and Playwrights’ Round Table directing a variety of short plays, and in 2016 directed a production of RENT, one of her most cherished industry memories.
She is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and an advocate for human rights and social justice. An inaugural member of UIA Talent Agency’s Diversity Leadership Mentorship Program, she is working firsthand with the President and Managing Director of the company to develop her strengths as an entertainment industry leader. She co-founded a dojo in 2013, teaching karate and coaching a competition team to victory through several seasons of local and national competitions. She is currently SAFD certified and a freelance personal self defense instructor, focusing on the confidence and empowerment of her students in each lesson. A graduate of the University of South Florida, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership Studies, as well as holding an Associate of Arts degree in Music Performance.
